WARNING: These algorithms have been developed as a guide to our residents especially for initial empirical therapeutic approach and prophylaxis. They are updated periodically. Recommendations for antimicrobials are based on the local pathogen and resistance profiles in our hospital. Therefore, it is not recommended to apply them in another institution word by word. 

NOTE: The listing of antimicrobial alternatives for the condition with more than one treatment option are listed in descending order of "first, second" in accordance with WHO AWaRe List 2023 , i.e., the first listed antibiotic(s) is the first choice.
