Research is an integral part of academic activity. Many research projects  - national and international, sponsored by governmental and non-governmental organizations - have been completed in our department since it was founded in 1983. 

Several international phase III and IV clinical trials sponsored by pharmaceutical companies as well as non-sponsored clinical studies are being conducted currently. Major clinical research areas are:
